La suspensi\u00f3n sustenta la carrocer\u00eda sobre las ruedas, uni\u00e9ndolas con el chasis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para obtener un sistema de suspensi\u00f3n, se requieren exhaustivos trabajos de ingenier\u00eda que incluyen precisos c\u00e1lculos y pruebas, como la distribuci\u00f3n del peso entre ejes, altura, compresi\u00f3n, o geometr\u00eda, <strong>siendo el trabajo tan dispendioso como el de dise\u00f1ar la carrocer\u00eda o el motor.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El\u00a0sistema de suspensi\u00f3n\u00a0hace parte de la seguridad activa del veh\u00edculo, cumpliendo una loable funci\u00f3n de seguridad, que <strong>garantiza la buena estabilidad en las curvas y un m\u00e1ximo confort de marcha y maniobrabilidad.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un mal rendimiento del sistema de suspensi\u00f3n aumenta de forma exponencial el riesgo de conducci\u00f3n. Las distancias de frenada se pueden alargar hasta en un 60% y los sistemas de seguridad activa como el ESP o el ABS funcionan de forma err\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuanto m\u00e1s pesado sea el veh\u00edculo, m\u00e1s importancia toma el sistema de suspensi\u00f3n en t\u00e9rminos de seguridad y funcionamiento debido a que la fuerza ejercida se incrementa exponencialmente por el peso y la aceleraci\u00f3n. Esta suspensi\u00f3n podr\u00eda soportar hasta 48 toneladas en una configuraci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos 8&#215;8. <br><br><strong>\u00bfEn qu\u00e9 consiste la suspensi\u00f3n hidroneum\u00e1tica?<\/strong><br><br>El sistema de suspensi\u00f3n hidroneum\u00e1tico utiliza una bomba movida por correa o levas conectada desde el motor que presuriza un fluido hidr\u00e1ulico especial, que a su vez impulsa los frenos, la direcci\u00f3n y la suspensi\u00f3n. El sistema de suspensi\u00f3n tiene la particularidad de que <strong>permite ajustar la altura de conducci\u00f3n para obtener un mayor recorrido en terrenos desiguales. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este sistema fue inventado por Citro\u00ebn en la d\u00e9cada de 1950, otorgando a sus veh\u00edculos una gran ventaja en conducci\u00f3n y aerodin\u00e1mica.
